Year 2

Hello! Welcome to Year 2. Year 2 consists of two classes: Badgers with Miss Loveridge and Mrs Pitcher and Otters with Miss Lloyd, Mrs Fitzgerald and Mrs Osborn. In Year 2, we learn exciting new skills and knowledge whilst having lots of fun. We enjoy a range of opportunities and value diversity.

Our main topics that we cover in Year 2 are: Schools from the past, Hot and Cold places, Living Things and Habitats, Invention of Flight, Little People - Big Dreams, History of our Monarchs and Our World and the Coast.

This is a very important time for your child, please encourage them to work hard and ‘Do it right, Do it well, Do it!’ - this is our school motto!

We encourage children to take ownership and lead their learning through our value of belief and that we must fulfill every opportunity to learn and grow.
