Reception

Hello! Welcome to Reception. In Reception there are two classes: Minnows & Tadpoles. Minnows class teachers are Miss Lloyd and Mrs Fitzgerald. Tadpoles class teacher is Mrs Montgomery. Other adults that help in Reception are Mrs Orris, Ms Rose and Miss Gibbins. 

Reception is always an exciting year as it’s the children’s first year at school! In Reception, we have lots of fun ‘Leading our own Learning’ as well as exploring topic focuses such as Antarctica, Food and Careers. 

In Reception, we learn to ‘Do it right, Do it well, Do it!’ We try our best in all of our learning and persevere to develop a ‘Can Do’ attitude. We focus on being a good friend, listening attentively and communicating with our teachers and peers.
