Welcome to our year 6 class page. Year 6 consists of: Kestrels, taught by Miss Sleightholme, and Cormorants, taught by Mrs Gavin.
Welcome back to your final term at Cliff Lane!
This summer term will be filled with a range of experiences: SATs, the Hilltop residential trip or the Year 6 activity days.
In English, we will be studying the fascinating life of Frida Kahlo and the Suffragettes. We will also dive into the world of magic as we complete a narrative looking at the story of ‘The Nowhere Emporium’ as our inspiration.
In maths, we will be taking the time in order to ensure we are ready for High School. We will spend the time revisiting previous concepts as well as continually rehearsing our arithmetic skills.
In history, we will be exploring influential figures and debating who should be the next face on the bank note.
We can’t wait to get started again after our Easter break and begin our preparations for High School. We look forward to seeing the incredible learning that is going to take place.
