Reception

Hello! Welcome to Reception. In Reception there are two classes: Minnows & Tadpoles. Minnows class teachers is Mrs Peto and Tadpoles class teachers are Mrs Duncan & Mrs Fitzgerald. Other adults that help in Reception Mrs Pitcher, Mrs Taylor, Miss Chambers & Miss Rauly.

Reception is always an exciting year as it’s the children’s first year at school! In Reception, we have lots of fun ‘Leading our own Learning’ as well as exploring topic focuses such as Antarctica, Food and Careers. 

In Reception, we learn to ‘Do it right, Do it well, Do it!’ We try our best in all of our learning and persevere to develop a ‘Can Do’ attitude. We focus on being a good friend, listening attentively and communicating with our teachers and peers.
